Typically Monograms are done in a differentiating size style.

This would be smaller First Name Initial, larger Last Name Initial, smaller Middle Name Initial. For example with this style Angela Mae Smith's monogram would be aSm.

Some Monogram styles are Same Size Styles. These are usually completed in written initial order. This would be First Name Initial, Middle Name Initial, and Last Name Initial. For example with this style Angela Mae Smith's monogram would be AMS.
